Code.Blog Code Talk for the Game Developer

Last night after working on implementing some new things in the demo, I cleaned up some of the rendering, lightened the ambient light, and changed the main player from the dwarf to the DirectX girl 'Tiny'.  Since Tiny has animation built into her, I figured I'd try to get animation working in my demo.  There's a lot to do to get stuff working with animation so I'm really unsure about getting this to work.

I was trying to push for that video I posted last night as fast as possible in order to start a new, FPS-style demo.  I realized though, everything I would be doing in the FPS demo would be where I'm going anyway since the demo camera is quite FPS-esque right now.  Basically, I'd take the player character model out and do a simple FPS but everything else would stay the same so I decided to just continue with what I'm on.
