Using SPServices & jQuery to Clone a Parent Item and All its Children
So, I mentioned a few blog posts back in jQuery in SharePoint for Hackers that I used SPServices and jQuery to clone a parent list item and all the children associated with the parent. A few people expressed interest in seeing how this was done. This is that blog post. Prerequisites Before diving in head first like I usually do, it would probably be a good idea for you to make sure you are comfortable with a few of my previous blog posts: Creating a SharePoint List Parent/Child Relationship – VIDEO ......

SharePoint 2007 & 2010 List of Features with GUID’s
So… I rarely do this, but sometimes a blog is better than a bookmark… below are two great posts I found that list SharePoint’s features with GUIDs. These come in particularly handy when you try to activate a feature that is dependent on one of these and all you have is the GUID to go off of try and figure out what it is… thanks to the original authors. Microsoft Kinect will make you go “Wii???”
So, I had been tempted to get the PS3 Move and actually held one in my hand at Best Buy on the first day it came out. I just could not get myself to pull the trigger. I mean, I thought it was cool, and I wanted one, but it seemed to be just a Wii+. Ya know? Well… I’d been hearing about the Kinect since it was called Natal… Remember that? Still not sure why they changed the name when they had so much buzz going early on… Here’s a great video of it back when it was first announced… ";" alt="" src="http://gwb.blob.core.w... ......

Being Lazy is Being Green
Okay… so this blog post has absolutely NOTHING to do with SharePoint. Nada… zero… zilch... so, if you are looking to be enlightened today, please look elsewhere… My eyes are crossing from sitting here writing code for who knows how many hours, so I needed to take a break from logic and reason… and a purely non-technical blog post started forming… Did you ever stop and think about how being lazy is actually being green? I mean.. really think about it: By being lazy you never get out and go anywhere ......
