How to move a VM from drive C:\ to E:\ to

·                     free up space on C:\

·                     now run the VM from E:\

 

Steps:

·                     use Hyper-V Mgr to Turn Off the VM

·                     use Hyper-V Mgr to Export  (copy your VM folders and files) to E:\

·                     use Hyper-V Mgr to delete the VM

·                     use Hyper-V Mgr to Import the VM from the new E:\ folder that Export built for you

·                     use Hyper-V Mgr to Start the VM
