One year ago today I came home from Microsoft Gamefest excited and jazzed about XNA and rushed out and purchased the XNADevelopment.com domain. Today is my sites one year birthday and what an amazing year it has been.
I've been involved in official launches, been interviewed by community sites, become a Microsoft MVP for XNA, spoken at my local Code Camp and watched 4 game hobbyists get the opportunity to have their games published on XBox Live Arcade.
The time has just flown by and every new twist and turn with XNA has just been incredible. With XNA 2.0 coming out sometime later this year (fingers crossed...), the excitement just continues and I'm still feeling just as energized as when I came back from Seattle one year ago.
Here's to another exciting year with XNA. Last year I managed to create around 9 tutorials and released 5 game demos for my site. I'm still loving making the tutorials and I'm hoping to turn out even more tutorials for XNADevelopment.com this next year (I already have quite a few under development right now). I'm really looking forward to continue to be a part of the XNA development community and can't wait to see all the new things that come out of it.
In celebration of my 1-year anniversary, I've created an official "About Me" page for my site. So since I know you're all dying to read all about me, I'll stop writing now and you can enjoy poking around in my life.
Happy Birthday XNADevelopment.com!
