Actually "SEED" is not "Super Efficient and Effective Deployment" but "Super Efficient and Effective Delivery".

Microsoft owes me money for spending time on research to find out what "SEED" stands for. They abruptly introduce absurd acronyms in their product documentations without bothering to explain what they stand for.

The "BizTalk 2002 Reviewers Guide" document describes SEED as, "Super Effective and Efficient Delivery (SEED) is a revolutionary new technology (sic) that allows large trading hubs to automatically publish configuration information out to their trading partners".

I feel your pain!

To be fair, I can't think of too many situations where Microsoft has launched silly acronyms and then spent several years not telling us what they stand for. This was one such example, however, and really irritated me for a long time.
