It's Official: Scott Hanselman is *NOT* a Dick

Wednesday, January 30, 2008 10:51 AM

Microsoft came under one of its *biggest* PR nightmares recently, when Rob Conery's recent post describing how Scott Hanselman single-handedly schooled a "Red Shirt" while also creating the newest catchphrase to be seen on t-shirts at the upcoming MVP summit:

"That's Comp-Sci Baby!"

This was how it was made out as:

However, it would take the courage of a lone Canadian with incredibly good looking hair and a throng of fans (like him, him, him, him, and him) to expose what *really* happened that fateful day. To clarify things, Rob posted an altered version explaining why Scott definitely is *not* a dick.

What do we gather from this? That unfortunately to all those ASP.NET-Sith out there hoping that Scott was indeed the merciless Dark Lord, they're forced to realize that instead...well....

The best part is that this all comes back to my session abstract last DevTeach:

"Everybody who is anybody is talking about the new MVC. And when you've heard it mentioned, you've *also* heard the standard "We can all play nice together", "there's still room for choice", "this is just an alternative" and all those other phrases that likely also involve group hugs and the Care Bear Stare. FORGET THAT."

This just confirms all my suspicions. 1/30/2008 11:05 AM | Justice~!

D'Arcy - dude you need to get in out of the cold. What's up with you Canucks? I think Atwood's take on Canada might have been spot on (anti-US germs rotting everyone's brains).

It's probably best if you guys stay up North - if you head our way you're eyes might pop like those fish that live deep in the ocean...

Can't wait to show this to Guthrie... 1/30/2008 12:10 PM | Rob Conery
