DreamSpark...Your College Needs To Get In On This!

Thursday, February 21, 2008 1:50 PM

Microsoft announced the DreamSpark program recently, and it looks to be a phenomenal opportunity for any college student wanting to play with the non-trial, non-express versions of Microsoft development products.

In a nutshell, if you're a student you get free licenses for VS.NET 2008 Pro, Expression Studio, Windows Server 2003 Standard, and SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition (as well as access to the express versions).

Who has to be student?

Just search for "ISIC" in Google images and find one of many idiots who posted an image of their card online, use the number on the card and viola you have access to the downloads and the product key generator.

Makes me wonder if MS really cares about piracy when they go ahead and make it THAT easy to get legit versions of their software.

They might was well have just asked for your age as verification.
