On October 14th, 2009, Winnipeg will be the site of the first annual SDEC09 – Software Development and Evolution Conference, hosted by Protegra! We’re really excited to put this on and think its going to be an awesome event!

The cost of the conference is $100 until September 18th and $150 after that. What do you get for that low admission fee?

Three Tracks of Sessions:

  Development Foundation Skills
Learn best practices on how to use developmental skills such as test driven development, SOLID principles, inversion of control container and others.

  Development Management and Methodologies
Hear how to apply Lean & Agile practices to your technical projects from real-world experts.

  Technology-Specific Development
Discover techniques for developing with Silverlight, jQuery, SQL Server and more.

Breakfast and Lunch Provided!

An opportunity to win one of two passes to Microsoft TechDays and O'Reilly publications!

Now I know what some of you may be thinking, so let me address it: while this conference is being organized and run by Protegra and will be featuring Protegra staff in the presentations, this is not a marketing event!

As part of the Winnipeg technical community we wanted to create an opportunity for us in the industry to get together where we can share our knowledge and experiences with one another; conferences are a great arena to facilitate that!

There you can get info on the sessions, speakers, and how to register for the event.

Hope to see you out!
