Wow its already another Monday and that means its time for the Postback report and a quick overview of some of the things I did this past week. I started playing around with some App ideas and using some sample data and binding with Silverlight for a WP7 app with Expression Blend. I’m having a blast and learning as well.

Whistle while you work
On the work side of things and where I earn a daily living… we’ve finally launched our first site using Sitefinity, so its time for me to move onto the next site on the list. I’ve already started looking into the 4.0 Beta and I’m really looking forward to the new features and a final release around November of this year. Watch for a post later this week on my thoughts about using Sitefinity for CMS.

Windows Phone Design Days
For anyone that is thinking about designing on the Windows Phone 7 platform, I highly recommend you watch through these video sets posted by Jamie Rodriguez. This is a great background on the design ideas behind the phone and how you should approach building Apps or User Experiences for this new device. I went through these over the weekend and now have a much better understanding in designing Apps from the start.

SketchFlow for Game Design Prototyping
I started researching a little bit on game level design and I’ve decided to look into using SketchFlow to help out with the mockup ideas and game levels once I get started. This should be a nice way to help Story Board out some of the game levels. Check out Don Burnett’s post from back in July 2009 and see how he used the same process.

MSDN is coming
Hopefully this week, I’ll hear back on my access to the MSDN and learn more about all the benefits. They said it would be about 3 business days, so my guess is that will land on about Wednesday at least.
