Microsoft is planning an interim release of Visual Studio between this release of “Whidbey” and the “Orcas” release. Slatted it seems for the summer of 2006 there will be a release “focused on quality”. Read about it here:

I'm heading to DevConnections tomorrow in Las Vegas to give a couple of talks on ASP.NET 2.0 and XML Web Services. I really like this conference - not because of Vegas, but because it is a good sized event where as an attendee you can really talk to other attendees and easily talk with the speakers. So, I am looking forward to attending the other sessions myself as there are some excellent speakers lined up for this event.
