Sorry I have been away for awhile, Brandon's doctors had some worries about his head growth and we had to get several scans to see if there was a problem.  This has probably been the craziest time of my life because I have never worried some much about anything.  He is only 6 months old, and all the signs were good on his development, but you just can't ask him to see if anything is wrong.  Also, you have to love getting test on Friday and waiting the whole weekend worrying about what is going on until Monday afternoon when you get the results.  Ends up that he is fine, thank God.  Posted on Monday, August 22, 2005 3:26 PM .NET | Back to top

I am glad to hear that your boy is fine. My daughter isn't going to be born until the first of January and I am already starting to worry about her. No reason just pre-Dad jitters. I can't even fathom how that is going to change once I get to finally meet her.

It's definitely the best experience of your life when they are borning. I would read up on the topic though, helped me prepare for the most drastic life changing experience.

That is a very tough situation. I am glad to hear that everything is okay though. I have 3 boys of my own, so I can definitly relate. You would rather tear off your arm than to see them in anytype of pair or trouble.

We had similiar issues with Sam. They were talking about doing a surgery that would basically mean cracking his skull and letting it grow back. As with you, all turned out fine, but yes, that is a feeling that I never want to go through again.

glad to hear things are o.k. its tough to think about your child being in pain or having health issues at such a small size and age. hopefully this is the worse thing that you'll ever have to go thru with him. wait till he gets older and dumb like my 6 year old, who decided to "test" his new hockey pads by surfing face-first down the sidewalk to see how protective it would be. it was very protective, but now $400 worth of brand new hockey equipment looks like its 8 years old and freshly pulled out of a goodwill donation bin.
kids are nuts.
