Bear with me on this and read me out…

How crazy is this? I received a call from Prometric today letting me know that LANTEC, the last of their testing centers in Baton Rouge, is no longer an option for test locations. I told the guy on the phone that they needed to change something as the nearest testing centers are in Lafayette and New Orleans. Isn’t Baton Rouge the capital of the State of Louisiana? It is CRAZY that this has happened. I have several exams that I am trying to take and it will be a HUGE ordeal to drive 1 – 1.5 hours aways to spend 2 hours taking a test. I’m going to spend more time driving than taking the test. WOW!

They closed our only testing center? wtf...

Seriously, I was thrilled that I could take the test locally last time I took a prometric exam. The facilities locally aren't the greatest, but they suffice and they save the hassle.

I hate to drive to New Orleans as it is, but the facility is nice and theya re at least open on the weekends. Still a great inconvenience.

It definitely sucks. I wish that Sparkhound or Antares had the space. Both companies are lacking in this area. One of us could easily do this.

Well that's a pile of poo, but at least I can go out in the French Quarter and celebrate after taking tests now.
